Refund Policy

At RocketDNS, we strive to provide a reliable, high-performance secondary DNS service. If you are not completely satisfied with our service, we offer a transparent refund policy.

1. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a no-questions-asked 30-day money-back guarantee on all new subscriptions.

  • Eligibility: If you are a new customer and are unsatisfied with the Service for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 calendar days of your initial purchase date.
  • Scope: This applies to your first billing cycle only. Renewal payments are generally non-refundable unless charged in error.

2. Cancellation & Plan Swaps

You may manage your subscription at any time via the RocketDNS Dashboard or the Paddle Customer Portal.

  • Cancellation: Upon cancellation, your account will remain active until the end of your current paid billing period. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for unused time upon cancellation.
  • Plan Swaps: We support immediate plan upgrades and downgrades.
    • Upgrades: You will be charged the difference for the remainder of the billing cycle.
    • Downgrades: In accordance with Paddle's logic, downgrades do not trigger a cash refund. Instead, a prorated credit will be applied to your account balance and automatically used towards your next invoice.

3. How to Request a Refund

As per our agreement with our Merchant of Record (Paddle), all refund requests must be initiated through RocketDNS directly.

To request a refund:

  • Email support@rocketdns.io from your registered email address.
  • Include your Order ID (found in your email receipt from Paddle) or your RocketDNS Account ID.
  • State that you wish to claim the 30-day money-back guarantee.

Once approved by our team, the refund will be processed back to your original payment method via Paddle. Please allow 5–10 business days for the funds to appear on your statement.

4. Exceptions & Non-Refundable Items

  • TOS Violations: Refunds will not be issued if your account was terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy (e.g., using the service for phishing, botnets, or illegal content).
  • Abuse: We reserve the right to deny refunds to users who abuse this policy (e.g., repeated sign-ups and cancellations to use the service for free).

5. Billing Disputes & Unrecognized Charges

Our payments are processed by Paddle. If you see a charge on your bank statement that you do not recognize (often labeled as PADDLE*ROCKETDNS or similar), please contact us first to resolve the issue quickly.

Important: If you initiate a dispute (chargeback) with your bank without contacting us first, your account will be immediately suspended pending the outcome of the dispute.
