Last Updated: January 30, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the DNS services, dashboard, API, or website (collectively, the "Service") provided by RocketDNS Inc. ("RocketDNS", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you are prohibited from using the Service.

2. Merchant of Record & Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle (Paddle.com).

  • Invoices: As the Merchant of Record, Paddle is solely responsible for issuing valid tax invoices. You will receive an official invoice from Paddle via email upon payment.
  • Billing & Taxes: When you purchase a subscription, payment processing and applicable tax collection are handled by Paddle. You agree to comply with Paddle’s Checkout Buyer Terms in addition to these Terms.
  • Technical Support: RocketDNS remains your primary point of contact for all inquiries regarding product support and platform functionality.
  • Billing Support: Subscription modifications, refund requests, and billing inquiries may be handled jointly by RocketDNS and Paddle.
  • Payment Disputes: Inquiries strictly regarding unrecognized charges on your bank statement or payment processing errors may be directed to Paddle directly.

3. Refunds & Cancellation

  • 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: We offer a full refund on all new subscriptions if requested within thirty (30) days of the initial purchase. For full details on eligibility and how to claim, please refer to our Refund Policy.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via the RocketDNS dashboard or the Paddle customer portal. Upon cancellation, your Service will remain active until the end of the current paid billing period. No pro-rated refunds are issued for cancellations made after the 30-day window.

4. Service Level Agreement (SLA)

We are committed to reliability and guarantee a 99.99% uptime for our DNS resolution infrastructure. For full details on our uptime commitments, measurement criteria, and service credit eligibility, please refer to our dedicated Service Level Agreement (SLA).

5. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination without refund:

  • Illicit Content: Hosting or directing traffic to sites involved in child sexual abuse material (CSAM), illegal streaming, warez/cracks, or copyright infringement.
  • Malicious Activity: Facilitating malware distribution, phishing, botnet Command & Control (C2), or launching DDoS attacks.
  • Unauthorized Configuration: Attempting to configure zones or domains for which you do not have administrative authority or ownership.

6. Fair Use Policy (FUP)

While many of our plans include "unlimited" queries, this is subject to a fair use policy to ensure the stability of the platform for all users.

  • Resource Limits: Zone counts and Records per Zone are strictly enforced based on your active Plan tier.
  • Excessive Queries & Abuse: "Unlimited" queries are defined as standard business use appropriate for the tier of service purchased. We reserve the right to throttle, suspend, or terminate services that generate excessive, consistent, or anomalous query volumes that jeopardize the stability of our infrastructure (e.g., utilizing the Service as a target for DDoS absorption or result of a technical loop).
  • Notification: In cases of excessive usage, we will attempt to contact you to resolve the issue or upgrade your plan to a custom tier before taking punitive action, except in emergency cases where immediate mitigation is required to protect other users.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Your Data: You retain all rights and ownership of your DNS data, zone files, and domain configurations.
  • Our IP: RocketDNS retains all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including the dashboard design, logos, software, and documentation.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ROCKETDNS INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (i) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; (ii) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; OR (iii) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be settled in the courts located in Montreal, Quebec.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this site and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
